Busuli means thick forest in Elunchun language. 

Busuli villa is located in a river valley of Daxing’anling Gan river, which is formally named GaXian military base. Because of typical temperate continental climate, the area is covered with conifer and broadleaf mixed forest. Lots of animals live in the area. The scenery is very beautiful and the air is fresh. In fact it is a war cold product.
In 1967, according to former USSR，Central Military Commission decided to set up a military base. The total investment for the project is 2.7 billion and covered area is 23.4 square kilometers. It belongs to Shenyang Military Region, Unit Designation 81932, Code 607. It is a huge project at that time. In the cold war, it deterred the enemy, and consolidated border defense. After the end of cold war, the army left in 1999. Now Busuli villa is developed as a tourist attraction and managed by the local government. Travelers can visit the exhibition hall, general building, missile storehouse, weapon storehouse… Here you can find the trace of cold war.
