The predecessor of Huayang Company was the laminate plant of the Alihe Forestry Bureau. Before the expansion project, the company had an annual output of 2,000 tons of electrical laminate wood, an annual output value of nearly 4 million yuan, and an annual profit of more than 9 million yuan. Many international large-scale transformer factories, such as Germany's Siemens, Japan's Toshiba, and Violin, have established stable supply and demand relationships, and have also become the world's largest transformer manufacturer-the supplier of the Swedish "ABB" company. The products produced by the company have also passed the US FM certification and have been rated as "Chinese Famous Brand Products". The products have a 60% market share in the domestic market. In 2006, the Forest Management Bureau (Forest Industry Group) identified the Alihe laminate plant as a key construction project in the forest area in the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" of the forest area. The total investment in the technical renovation and expansion of the electrical wood production line was 17.46 million yuan. After three times of reconstruction and expansion, the annual production capacity of electrical wood products has expanded to 5,000 tons, making it the largest electrical laminate wood production enterprise in Asia. The company has obtained the right to export products and realized direct export of products.
In order to better adapt to the requirements of the market economy, in 2008, the Alihe Laminate Plant was restructured and renamed Inner Mongolia Alihe Huayang Electrical Laminated Wood Company, which embarked on the road of independent development from the main enterprise. At present, the quality of its electrical laminated wood products has reached the international advanced level, the new product P2R electrical wood has been directly exported to Hungary and Pakistan, and the production process of the X-type electrical laminated wood ring has obtained the national invention patent.
